Pluses and minuses

The location is tricky it’s an easy walk to downtown Lake Worth (which has good restaurants) yet is on a busy street. So, at night I could hear the street traffic as well as the late night/early morning activities of one of the couples staying in the house. The space is nice (except for the window air conditioners) and I love the Keurig! Lastly, the off-street parking was great; however, the coin operated laundry was not.

Perfect stay in the Captains Quarters

The Captains Quarters had everything we needed and more to have the perfect weeklong getaway. We are planning on returning for the next trip!

The apartment is clean, and the host was very responsive and easy to communicate with, which we appreciated.However, a few aspects of the stay did not meet our expectations:•Bedroom: The bedroom is quite small, and the closet has only a single clothes hanger. No luggage racks. This meant my husband and I had to keep our luggage on the floor for the five days we stayed. Additionally, there were no extra blankets or a duvet, which made sleeping uncomfortable since the mornings were quite cold (around 6C).•Kitchen: The kitchen is equipped with basic pots, pans, dishes, and cutlery. However, there was no blender, toaster, sandwich maker, or trivet for hot dishes. This made it difficult to serve food safely. There was also only one glass container to serve food.•Electrical outlets: The outlets in the dining area did not work, which made it challenging to work or use a computer comfortably.Considering the price paid, we feel that the apartment could improve in these areas. While we appreciated the host and cleanliness, we would not recommend this property for future stays unless these issues are addressed.

Nice and quiet, great location

We came for SunFest and enjoyed our stay. Abundance of hot shower water, firm beds. Did not used kitchen as we spent most of our time out at the festival. Off street parking in behind the property via access from the alley.
