Enjoy peace and quiet on a 14.64ac homestead. We’re a 1.25-hour drive from Ft. Worth, 2.5 from Austin, and 3 from San Antonio.
Use your time here to decompress from city life and enjoy watching the cattle pass the day by. Feel free to visit our main ranch in Cisco to milk a dairy cow, make cheese, butter, or experience other homesteading/farming activities we're doing on any given day.
The space
A private tiny home with a queen bed, full-size kitchen, and back-porch overlooking the pond. We're a half mile off State Highway 6 down a county-maintained gravel road. Hosts occasionally work on-site to care of cattle and maintain a small 4-space RV park at the other end of the property. Expect wildlife including the occasional spider, scorpion, or possibly a snake.
Amenities:
* Founding Father’s Coffee
* Full Leaf Tea Company Wellness Teas
* Rustic Strength Natural Bath and Body products
* Pack-and-play playpen (if requested)
* Toddler bed (if requested)
* High Chair (if requested)
The area:
We’re a 10 to 15-minute drive to the local grocery store and offer pre-visit shopping to have anything you might need (details in our digital guidebook). Red Gap Brewery, Blue Duck Winery, Muddy Mikes, and La Finca are in Cisco. The amazing Majestic Theatre is located in Eastland. While you should expect small-town restaurant choices, you can always cook things we raise here at Lallygag Lane.
Guest access
While we do not restrict access to most of the property, we do ask that you check in with us before visiting any of the livestock areas as well as any of the many outbuildings across the property.
