“This Little inn above the pub was so charming. The room was fantastic, cozily decorated and had a big window. The weather was perfect, and we were able to have the window open. Caution with the window open, it can be a little noisy from the pub downstairs. But no worries on that. We enjoyed hearing folks having lots of fun! It's also conveniently located and easily walkable to the old town. And of course, gorgeous Beach.”

“A lovely hotel with many original features.
The dinner and breakfast were lovely, there was a nice selection of both.
The room was great and plenty of plugs to charge devices.
I liked the lounge/bar area with a wide selection of books and games available for patrons.
It's very well located for trips to Battle itself and Hastings.
Would very happily stay here again.”

“Great value, great staff and great breakfast. Was slightly disappointed as we had a couple of issues in the room, which we reported, but nobody came to sort it out.”

“We stayed in a quad room for £130 per night and were quite disappointed. The photos online made the room look modern and recently updated, but in reality it felt very dated, almost as if it hadn’t been refurbished in decades. The room was also not as clean as expected.
One of the biggest issues was the lack of ventilation. The room became very hot, but opening the window-door wasn’t really an option as it allowed insects to come into the room. The roof garden outside also looked neglected and……

“Staff on check in were really lovely, friendly and helpful. Carried our suitcases upstairs which was much appreciated and provided iron and ironing board within minutes.
Room 14 is a safety hazard! Tiny step in to the bathroom which is really easy to miss and I actually had a bad fall when staying. There's also a step down in to the bedroom part of the room, so be really careful if you stay in this room.
Someone had pre set an alarm on the TV to 5:45am so if you stay here, make sure to check……

“Our room had a very ugly view over the bins and kitchen extractor fans. This created a loud hum until around 10pm and also brought some cooking smells into the room. The walls are also very thin and we could hear the room next door very clearly.
However, after midnight the noise died down and it was quiet.
The hotel is in a nice, very rural location.”
