「The doors operate on a keycode system so it's very much an air bnb set up rather than a staffed pub. There are very few instructions of where to go or what to do. I woke up at 2am cold and slept in my hat. There were no additional blankets, no electric radiator, loads of condesation and damp on the inside of...

The bed was comfy and I had an amazing night's sleep. Breakfast was served at a time that was convenient to me and everything was very fresh. The bread and jam were also home made. The property is in a very quiet location and in lovely gardens and provides a great place to stay during a visit to the lake district. 」
