「Beautiful location on a quiet country track, stunning big garden . Cottage was the perfect size for us and our 3 children . Spotlessly clean with everything in the cupboards you could ever need. Perfectly located for Edinburgh, The kelpies , Stirling castle etc. We loved our stay ,the owners were friendly and helpful and we got complimentary Scottish shortbread which was delicious.」

「This is an incredible location. Right in the heart of incredible shopping and historical sites, plus easy access to transportationThe rooms are enormous with high ceilings and a glorious great room with amazing kitchen and both washer and dryer. Note to north american travlers: there is an on / off wall switch that controls the power to the refrigerator. And the dryer occasionally needs the water resevoir emptied. Yes, as others have mentioned, this location is accessible only via two...

「My fiancee and I went for a long (4 day) weekend and LOVED it. Karen was a wonderful host. Greeted us when we first arrived but then left us to ourselves unless we had an questions. 「Beautiful views! A lovely cottage!」

「Nice apartment in a lovely village. The guest book was a nice touch and we gleaned a good tip from previous guests' comments: free parking at Rosyth train station for an easy day-out in Edinburgh.」

「Great place to stay. Very spacious, clean and comfy. Perfect for families with kids. Good location. Would definitely stay again.」

「Simply lovely location. Staff were responsive and courteous.」

「A good location for seeing sights in South and East Ayrshire. Spacious for two people. Well equipped.」

「Beautiful cottage both inside and in its location. Outside of the town centre, it was still close enough to walk to the local Co-op for supplies and into the town for access to the River Leven & Loch Lomond and the train station. I loved sitting outside next to the burn with a cup of tea in a morning, listening to the soothing sounds of the water and birdsong. Fiona, the host, was wonderfully welcoming and it was an idyllic home for our few days in Balloch.」

「We just spent the Christmas week in this amazing property! One reason I had chosen this place was because past reviews mentioned the owner had set up a Christmas tree and other holiday decorations - all true and decorations were lovely. The flat was spotless and spacious - huge rooms with high ceilings. Decor and furniture made it feel like a home. Other positive factors included: location was great - walking to Princes Street area as well as very close to the Botanical Gardens; lots of little...
