“I had bigger expectations for this hotel. On a positive note, the view is absolutely stunning. The exterior and the garden. The room did not look like the images I saw. It was a bit of a let down. I felt the woman on reception was dismissive and condescending to me. I didn't get my room until after 4pm. She told me my room was "almost ready" several times, which it wasn't. She even said she went to my room and the cleaning staff were in it. If she was honest about the room's avail I could……

“The staff were very friendly, chatty and helpful especially Sophie who I had for my massage. She was fantastic and I felt totally relaxed. The spa area is amazing and very clean. The bed was extreme comfortable. The only thing my husband and I weren't happy with was the choice of food for dinner. Very much pub food, would like to see more restaurant food in line with a spa resort. Overall we had an amazing relaxing weekend and will be back. Definitely recommend The Rabbit Resort.”

“Rooms are small but clean. Fine for one night while just passing through. It would have been nice to have a common area where we could have sat and met other travellers or played card.”

“This Inn is undergoing renovation and has only in the last couple of months re-opened. They have concentrated on the public areas, the bar, reception etc. Unfortunately the guest rooms are unfinished and the corridors to them are in a building site state. They should not have opened up the guest rooms until these were complete. Although comfortable the guest rooms had an unfinished feel about them. Shower was hot and good, however it was impossible to lock them in a usable position. Fittings had……

“Prachtige Lodge in een oude water molen”

“We love the location as it close to downtown Carrick, shops, restaurants and the old castle, which incidentally does great tours.”

“The quietness of the property was so appreciated after being in the city. Truly a very clean and well stocked apartment. The location to Belfast was perfect, especially when needing to get to the ferry. I would definitely stay there again!”

“Outstanding house, so micely decorated, felt very at home, but with a view to die for.”

“So beautiful, lovely home and hosts. Bonus view of GOT filming site. The place was exactly as described.”

“Lovely stay in Carrickfergus. Very clean and tidy property with everything i needed. Local amenities are on the door step. Host (Jayne) was lovely - would recommend.”

“The apartment itself is decorated and presented to a high standard. It is however a couple of hundred meters up an unmarked track from the main road. For unknown reasons the owners were unaware of our booking, as a result the owner wasn't available to direct us to the apartment. I would suggest making contact with the owner directly as soon as booking this apartment. ”

“Heather thought of everything when she furnished the Pink Cottage. There were individual jams, butter, fresh bread, cereal, coffee, tea etc. The upstairs loft is spacious with a lovely garden and another little pink cottage that has a living room where you have a fabulous view of the water. There is a microwave, toaster, dishes, utensils etc. There were several tv options. We are big walkers and the path down to the lighthouse connects to the driveway and then the water path. The water to the……
