We partly booked this hotel because of the pool, restaurant and Starbucks but the Starbucks actually closed a lot earlier than regular Starbucks - 6pm so we missed it which was disappointing

Positives Lovely clean room, looked like it had recently been refurbished. Large comfortable bed. Nice breakfast. Negatives Walls very thin so didn’t get much sleep due to constant noise from people in the room next door.

It was nice to have a receptionist to help check in as you needed a drivers licence or passport to do so otherwise. There was a very loud party in the function room until 12.40 which kept us all awake. We did complain about the noise and had a free Starbucks but I would have preferred a proper nights sleep after a busy day. The car parking for £5 overnight must have been in the small print. Breakfast was average with staff needing reminders about what had run out. We got the feeling not much attention was paid to breakfast on su days because there was a lunch offer.

Property was clean and staff were helpful and friendly. Downside was the price which was extremely high for the quality of the food and drink available. Breakfast was disappointing given the cost, and the bar was extortionate - a single glass of red wine, for example, cost £12, and a small pasta salad cost around £16. The swimming pool was lovely, and the beds were comfortable, if very hot.

It is a nice place especially for the younger person. The dining room was very large and doubled as the bar. Plenty of parking at the front including some disabled bays. It stands adjacent to a main road and a little distance to nearby shops but buses run passed it so , if you haven't got a car it's take a bus or a taxi. We stayed for a couple of nights and had no problems at all.
