The apartment was a wonderful place to spend 5 days in Shetland. It was comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed. It was in a great location right in the centre of Lerwick and close to shops and restaurants. James and Mandy were excellent hosts and very responsive.

Perfect place!

The flat is light, airy, and very comfortable. It’s only 3 minutes to everything you could need! The hosts are extremely accommodating and easy to deal with. This is my first Vrbo experience and it was a great one!

Lerwick Holiday Hoose

Stouts Court is well appointed, tidy with plenty of room and a dear view of ships coming into harbor. Central to shops and attractions, bus line, local ferries and roads to the rest of Mainland. Communication with hosts excellent! Well recommended.

Early arrival off ferry from Orkney gave us time at the south end of mainland, including puffins and lighthouse, Jarlshoff, & swim at St.Ninians isle. Scalloway castle closed, but museum worthwhile.Apartment very central, and well appointed. Rather noisy neighbour upstairs, but friendly folk throughout our stay.Worth booking table ahead at no.88 if cruise ship visiting.VisitingNorwegian boats for 80th Anniversary of VE Day were interesting(ShetlandBus)Shetland museum at far end of town well worth while.Spent day with James, watching otters on shoe on Yell. Magic!

Best Week in Shetland

I spent a week in Shetland with a friend and we had the most amazing time. Lots of hiking, swimming, wildlife adventures, history and culture, great food and incredible hospitality. The apartment was fantastic and we had an awesome week there. Great communication with James and Mandy. Easy check in, super comfortable beds, fantastic bathroom, well equipped kitchen and a washing machine which was great. Fabulous location and a short walk to shops, restaurants, ferry terminal, boat harbour and of course DCI Jimmy Perez’s house. James and Mandy were wonderful hosts and made our stay magical and memorable. Thank you so much. I do hope I get to come back again.

Lovely apartment in a very central location. Everything was clean, rooms very spacious and everything you could need was provided. Lovely touches like travel mugs and a backpack to use which was great. Great communication from the hosts. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others - thankyou!

James and Mandy‘s flat in Lerwick was fantastic. Communication with James was easy and open via text and email. The flat was in a great location, clean, well-equipped, and welcoming. I would recommend this flat to anyone visiting the Shetlands.
