“My family and I love this property. It is clean, well appointed, and has a lot of space. The hot tub and sauna are lovely. The only draw back is it can be loud. The trails and pond provide hours of fun. We have enjoyed our time together in this place the last few years.”

“It was nice for the price I guess. I was thinking it was self check in. It was not the guy was super friendly but we were in a hurry to get to out event so meeting with him was not planned. I could’ve figured out to put the power button on to use the hot tub so pretty pointless. Hot tub did not have seats inside so it was up to my neck the first night and I couldn’t use it. The shower was the biggest issue. The floor isn't going to make it much long. The shower sprayed directly onto the floor……

“Very relaxing. Clean and perfect for a getaway!”

“My partner and I were thoroughly impressed with everything about this cabin. It was well equipped for just about anything you could potentially need for a quick weekend getaway. We would recommend this place to anyone and hope to return ourselves.”

“She is an amazing host. Me and my family have a lot of fun even though the weather wasn’t the best we have a blast!! thank you so much. I will be back again!”

“Amazing property!”

“the Winery was small and the wine was very good.”

“The photos are outdated and there is a room missing (the theater room does not exist). The standard beds are comfortable; bunks are okay and a little creaky. The kitchen is skim - many basics were either not working or missing. The coffee pot runs slowly and so do the two other alternatives. There were no large bowls, quirky. The photos present a brighter, lighter place from a few versions ago. I booked this for a staff retreat and many said they felt like we go the Temu verison of the listing.”

“Larry and Susie were outstanding hosts and our stay was outstanding! The Rising Sun was perfect for our family. Rented a pontoon with the dock space and we had a fantastic week. Definitely will return!”

“The house was perfect for our needs. Plenty of space for everyone.”

“Home was nicer then the pictures portrayed. Very responsive hosts. Didn’t like the fees for over 8 people but the property was wonderful. Pool was nice, canoe for fishing and even a fountain in the pond. Wonderful house to stay in. Highly recommend!”

“A very clean and cozy place! We enjoyed our stay!”

“Great Cabin located on unique property! Cabin was very cool - lots of room throughout with great family areas inside and outside. Wonderful kitchen & dining area with tons of space. Home was very clean. The 65 acre property it was located on was spectacular/ the young kids absolutely loved running around the property and exploring. Lots of great trails, stone quarries and old statues to interest kids & adults. Had a couple questions come up during our stay that I needed to contact the owner for……
