“Property is old and run down, the lobby is very nice; but the rooms you can tell have seen some wear and tear. Our bedroom lamps were broken and being held up with black tape; the fridge barely cooled, microwave was in poor condition, the shower head was broken and shower curtain all tattered and ripped. Not was I was expecting from a Hampton.”

“The room was very dirty…I’m speaking about drip marks on walls and doors and stains on the chairs. Apparently, “non smoking” means someone hasn’t smoked in the room for an hour? I would rate it even lower, but will say that the sheets, pillows and towels were very clean. Someone banged on my door at 3 am and woke me up; the next night I had a roof leak and placed a wastebasket under it”

“There were multiple trash can that were full in each of the hallways and no associate took it out, some repairs need to be done to the facility like new doors and paint for the walls.”

“During a one week stay, we asked for our room to be cleaned 4 times before giving up, the room needed updating, a deep clean, and repairs. There were random puddles of water popping up in the middle of the floor, against the baseboards, and in the closet. The shower area was in bad shape. A lot of the time there were not actual staff present, but instead a machine set up similar to a zoom or teams meeting. The smell was to be expected for a place that was not well maintained. “This place was a flat-out dump. The staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. When I called to inform the front desk that my room was dirty, the man who answered didn't care. He even told me that management would do nothing about it. The room was dirty--dirty and damp towels, no comforter on the bed, trash (a woman's fake fingernail) in the windowsill, cockroaches. DO NOT STAY HERE. You'd be better off sleeping in your car. Seriously. I don't know how this place passes health inspections. The……

“Staff did not seem to care for their job, we were handed a piece of paper with 3 different room numbers & told to go physically check them before picking one. Upon checking the rooms, they were filthy with roaches and the doors were left open so anyone could have entered prior to us. The bed accommodations did not match what we had booked and the pictures on the website are nothing like the property. People of all natures are walking about the whole time, there was yelling from the neighbors……

“It was my families first time stay and I was blown away by everything it entails. Free dinner and breakfast was a plus. Staff was super nice and our room was very clean.”

“The hotel has been renovated, and the room facilities are very new and clean. However, for non-smokers like us, the hallway has a strong smell of smoke, despite the “No Smoking” sign at the entrance. The soundproofing of the rooms is not very good. On the positive side, the breakfast is plentiful, and the staff are very friendly!”

“Great hotel in a really good location (proximity to shopping, dining, sightseeing was great). Not super walkable (due to roadway) but easy to get to several places in quick time. Golf course on site was good and staff was excellent.”
