Was a bit cold trying to get this shot but I'm glad I persevered. I particularly like the rocks soaked by the relentless tide.
There is something quite special about calm water at sunset and the focus of the moored rowing boat gently swaying in the light breeze.
Managed to capture this beautiful little damsel fly without a macro lens. In fact I had a 55-300mm zoom lens on and had to be really quiet not to scare it away.

Check in was fine. Pleasant friendly staff. Had to move rooms 3 times due to various issues. Very small bed. Poor lighting. No hot water in shower. Disappointing for a newly refurbished hotel
