“The property was beautiful and well maintained. We had a wonderful meal - the duck was very good as was the seafood risotto. Breakfast was also great. The location was beautiful! A small lighthouse across from the property as well as a small castle further down. Had a wonderful morning walk along the water and fond by the castle! A perfect autumn walk.”

“Everything was fine, and the location around the hotel was good. However, the main issue was that the toilet was shared between 4 to 5 rooms and was located outside the rooms, which was inconvenient.
The hotel may be more suitable for younger people, as it has five floors and only stairs, making it quite difficult to go up and down, especially for families or older guests.
Overall, the stay was okay, but these points are worth considering before booking.”

“Our stay at Glencruitten House was lovely. However, for the price there are a few things that did not exactly meet expectations. First, upon arrival we were offered a welcome drink to enjoy in the sitting room, which was very nice. But there was no direction for what we should do after. We were not offered assistance with bags at check-in, so we went to fetch our own bags after we finished our drinks. When we lugged in our bags we were told “oh someone could have helped you with that”. It was……

“The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice, large and had everything needed. The bathroom was small but adequate, the linens were large and fluffy. The breakfast, which was extra, we felt was good for the price paid. And consisted of cold items and a menu of hot items.”
