Nice apartment for families.

Takes around 10-15 minutes to walk from the tram station. There is a big supermarket next to the apartment. The apartment is clean and quiet with a well equipped kitchen. Better check if anything missing or not functioning after you check in.

Quite good

Only 5 minutes to Paddington Station! 10 minutes to Palace Kensington. There are many choices of restaurants and fast food nearby! Very good in location! Small bathroom but acceptable in the price Very nice breakfast! Bring your own slippers!! There are no slippers provided.

Bedbugs Inn

Confirmed Bedbugs in the hotel. After confronting the hotel, they offer discount on coming visit. Very inappropriate! If one get food poisoned from a restaurant you dont go back there, even if you get the food for free. Or if a dog with rabies have bitten you in your shoe, you dont offer your childrens fingers to the dog. A word of warning for anyone . Do not step inside the doors of this building. Dont even visit close to the building or anyone that has been close to it. The management stuff of this hotel is so far from a descent British approach of service. Such people make the whole experience with visiting London or UK a poor one.

We enjoyed our stay at Aaraya Hotel. It was just a short walk from Paddington Station and Hyde Park. Rooms were cute and clean. They were in the middle of renovating the rooms so they had to switch us out of our room that fit our family of 5 part way through our stay, but they gave us two rooms beside each other for no extra cost. They have No eating area at the hotel so you have to plan to eat out. One gem that we found just a couple blocks away was The Stable Hand. Excellent food and service.

Wirklich erschreckende Ankunft im Zimmer. Hatte nicht mit viel gerechnet (s. andere Bewertungen), aber es war echt nur schäbig für den Preis. Ich zähle nicht alles auf, das schlecht war, sondern das Positive: Hervorragende Lage, Betten bequem und sauber bezogen, immer frische Handtücher. Der Test an Sauberkeit(sgefühl) ließ zu Wünschen übrig. Haben uns nicht getraut, ohne Schlappen auch nur einen cm drinnen zu gehen. Dusche mit Wasserdruck in Ordnung. Exterieur des Hauses schick. Nur ein klein wenig TLC, und das Hotel könnte den Preis wert sein. Leider Prio auf Einmalkommende. Keine Frühstücksoption, auch nicht in Tüten. Zu viele Schäden, schmuddelig. Wirklich nur zum Schlafen genutzt. Leider nie wieder! (Anmerkung: Bin kein Snob, nutze auch gern Hostels, aber selbst die sind besser. Es geht um Preis-Leistung, ja, auch in London. Rip-off.)

My chief complaint is that the website needs to be updated. We booked this hotel specifically because it offered breakfast, as shown in the website photo gallery. They do not serve breakfast! The website also shows a different hotel name and decor. Please update. This is extremely misleading. Otherwise, it was a pleasant, affordable place to stay. Quiet street. Close to bars, restaurants and all transportation. Staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean.

One night in Paddington

Room small no table/chair and no lift in hotel but this is typical of small hotels in Sussex Gardens and more than adequate for a one or two night stay. Good value for money. Comfortable bed. The hotel will allow you to store luggage after check out for the rest of the day which is really helpful for a further days activity before leaving London. Lots of pubs bars and restaurants nearby and very handy for transport links.

Very poor experience

Horrible experience Arrived for check in, the door was looked. There was a sign with a phone number to call. Over 30 minutes of non answering calls. Finally someone checked me in. The room was so hot the heater was looked you can lower it down they left the window open but since it’s in lower ground I felt that the room is full with mice.

Hotell i bra område nära Paddington station

Hotellet ligger bredvid massa andra hotell men är lätt att hitta och lätt att ta sig från Paddington station. Vi hade ett trebäddsrum och det var ganska stort för att vara London. Badrummet saknade krokar vilket var lite synd för handdukar. Inget ljus vid spegeln vid handfatet utan endast taklampan. Ingen annan spegel heller så bra att ta med sminkspegel om det behövs. Wi-fi funkade bra. Vi hade rummet precis bredvid receptionen så det kan ha varit anledning till bra wi-fi kanske. Om man är lättstörd och vill sova tidigt så är det rummet inte bra då det är en del störande ljud från receptionen till sent. Mycket ljud från gatan så öronproppar är bra. Vänlig personal. Skulle bo här igen. Nära till många kommunikationer så man kan ta sig vart man vill på enkelt sätt.

If you want a place to sleep that's clean and a good value, this is a good choice. Two blocks from Paddington and two blocks fron Lancaster Gate Central Line stop, on a nice street. A no-frills place with no lobby or any other amenities, but very comfortable beds.

The first impression was that the rooms smelt of damp plaster. It was like a building site - the place looked like it was being done up, with guests still on site. Our room was in the basement and very small. Looking out the window all you could see was builders debris and the worst thing was the noise from the room above, you could hear everything and I mean everything! even though the other guests were not that noisy. They did however get up at 6.00am and once they were awake we were awake! The hotel was also advertised as supplying breakfast - but we were told they stopped doing it. Also the fire door at the top of the stairs labelled 'Keep Closed' was held open at all times. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
