This is the first time that i have been disappointed in a vacation rental. I reached out multiple times for check in instructions, but didnt receive a repsonse. I called the number listed, and it wasnt a working number. I contacted Expedia, and after an hour of chatting with customer service (on way to property from aiport), I was ready to give up because even Expedia couldnt figure out how to check in. Long story short, hours later, I received a cryptic message to go to a grocery a few blocks away to pickup the key. The apartment wasnt even ready until after 7pm, so i basically wasted my day. The apartment isnt in terrible shape, but its not in good shape either. With so many options innthe area, i would not recommend this property.

Great location but a few snags

Overall, a nice apartment in a great location - only a very short walk to Paddington. There is lots of space, a nice modern kitchen, and the beds were comfortable. There are convenience shops and restaurants nearby. The check-in process was disappointing. There were a lot of emails from the managing agent, and you have to provide a lot more info than if you stay in a hotel (including copies of passports for everyone staying). To get the keys you either have to pay £30 for someone to meet you, or pick them up from the shop up the road. This is fine, but the agent hadn’t actually sent me the code I needed to collect them, so I spent five minutes anxiously standing a shop with my luggage, wondering if I had been scammed. The main things that affected the stay negatively once I had actually accessed the property were a broken window blind in the bathroom (so get ready to flash the people across the street when you shower!), a broken table (the leg fell off at one point), and there being no fans, so the bedrooms were incredibly hot. I would stay again for the location, but I would hope these issues would be sorted.
