We had to change rooms at night because there was no hot water and the heater in the room had broken down. Just disappointed that this was not checked out before giving us the room key. It is hard especially once you have settled in with two kids.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
God beliggenhed og god plads
Beliggenhed tæt ved Tube og spisesteder. Meget rummelig lejlighed
Nice hotel but a bit further from Kings Cross station than I was expecting. Fine for adults but not do good when you have a 5 year old with you.
Would recommend it otherwise.
Great location - only 10-15 mins from the tube at Angel.
The apartments are fairly basic so not the place if you are looking for a luxury experience but we thought it was great value for money - loads of room and everything has been kept neat and tidy.
Perfect for a group or family.
Staff were really helpful too. Would definitely go back for another weekend away.
We stayed for one night here as it is the nearest hotel to where our daughter lives and we were delighted. We weren't sure what to expect and were apprehensive about booking an apartment instead of a hotel room. We were given a one bedroom apartment on the first floor. It was spacious, clean and comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen and complimentary tea and coffee. The building itself is gorgeous. It is either Georgian or built in the Georgian/colonial style with high ceilings giving a feeling of space and light.
We intend to stay longer next time. Very reasonable prices, too. Really pleased with our choice.

Check in was polite and efficient.
Spacious apartment with nice sitting room and kitchen facilities.
Parking on site and nearby is expensive but handy.

Simple but effective. Immediate area is not particularly nice but you are very close to Angel tube station and about 10 min walk from some very nice restaurants/bars. Was very basic and a bit tired but there is loads of space and does a good job at a competitive price.
Room was spacious and comfortable. Rather newly refurbished, but they overlooked some things. No racks or hooks for wet towels, and there was not daily service, because its an apartment hotel. No place in bathroom to leave personal items. Worst of all, in four days we were not successful in signing onto the wifi in our room. Just didn't work.
Bus stop outside hotel. 10 minute walk to Angel, plenty of shops, bars and restaurants.
We did have a problem in the morning with no hot water. I tried the ensuite shower plus the bathroom shower and ended up having just a cold water splash. We boiled a kettle of water so that we could have a warm wash. We reported it to reception who sent an engineer but by then we were on a time scale for a train. The engineer said we could probably go and have a shower elsewhere but we didn't have time.
Apartment instead of hotel room turned out to be very good. Three room, kitchen, two bathrooms for the same price as a single room at a hotel. Will be back
The Citadines St. Mark was a great alternative to a conventional hotel for the same price. We stayed in a two bedroom/two bath apartment. It has a fully furnished kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave & washer/dryer as well as a living room/dining room area. It included all linens. It was close to central London and the train stations and had a bus stop directly in front as well as an underground tube station within a 10 minute walk. We would definitely stay there again.
If you don't care what your room is like and don't need a concierge to help during your visit, then this may be suitable. No real lobby, wifi only connects occasionally, damp smell to the hotel, my kitchen smelled fishy, beds were uncomfortable, shower made water go all over floor, and on a busy street with ambulances blaring through the night.
The bed was to hard. The first room was small with a weird layout. We requested a room change and was accommodated. The staff is excellent and provided a useful guide to attractions with travel instructions.
