The check-in counter is near at Camden Town Station, but our apartment should be walked about 10 mins from the station.

Getting to the property was a bit confusing, and the bed was mostly spings however I had no trouble sleeping. Short walk to Camden and is very close to a bus line.

A éviter!

A éviter! Nous sommes arrivés dans un appartement qui ne correspond pas aux photos du site. Très bruyant, aucune isolation(extérieur et avec voisin du dessus). Quand il fait chaud c’est intenable surtout avec les odeurs de kebab du rez-de-chaussée. Mais le pire c’est la literie qui est complètement fracassée. Le matelas de la chambre est bon pour la poubelle, on sent bien tous les ressorts( c’est tous les points sur la photo du matelas déformé…. ). Nous avons demandé pour changer d’appartements dès le lendemain, mais rien n’a été fait. On nous a baladé pendant tout le temps du séjour en attendant un retour du soit disant manager. Je déconseille fortement.

Appartamento molto carino in pieno centro a Camden Town. Peccato per la totale mancanza di insonorizzazione delle camere. L’appartamento a me assegnato aveva le finestre non isolate ed è stato praticamente impossibile dormire: sembra di stare in strada con macchine e ambulanze che passano a tutte le ore!

Ikke i stil til forventningene

Dette står ikke i stil til annonsen og de bildene som vises av leilighetene på Internett. Soverommene er forsåvidt greie, mens de andre rommene er trange og i generelt dårlig stand. Baderommet var beregnet for 8 personer men det var knapt mulig å gå på do. For øvrig er Camden Town veldig hipt om dagen med mye folkeliv.

Comments for 3 bedrooms apartment. #1 -Location on map- City centre apartment location shown is only the office and not the house. There is no signboard. Please call when you reach the office otherwise you wont know which is the entrance. If you are renting one of the 3-bedroom houses you will need to walk for another 5 mins to reach the house. If you are travelling with luggages and young kids please drop off at the exact location of the house. #2 - Shouting and yelling on street during midnight that makes you cant sleep. As for security wise, please consider it is Camden town even it's located at a residential area. #3 - burnt frying pan and spoilt oven #4 - 4 flights of stairs ; not suitable for seniors or those who have heavy luggages #5 - Toilet no.2 is tiny; only suitable for children #6 - Please read the small print - they collect cash GBP40 without giving receipts. Take note of other charges. #7- Please bring your own shampoo & showel gel. They only give soap. #8 - house is clean with basic necessities. #9 - location is near to tube station and convenient stores.

Godt - til en god pris!

Nem indtjekning og udlevering af nøgler. Pænt og rent. God størrelse til to børn og to voksne. Badeværelse med karbad. Køkken med alt. Vores lejlighed lå ud til stor gade, dejlig centralt, men meget støj. Der var desværre 27 grader varmt i lejligheden døgnet rundt, også selvom vi tændte de to blæsere der var i lejligheden. God størrelse og standard, samt beliggenhed, til en god pris. Dog ærgerligt at skulle betale 40 pund for rengøring oveni... Alt i alt: Godt. Kommer gerne igen!

Check in rapido. Casa a circa 10 minuti a piedi dall'ufficio del check in. Zona tranquilla e silenziosa. Casa ben fornita e spaziosa, (eravamo 4 adulti e tre bambini) ben tenuta e letti comodi. Due bagni molto piccoli, uno solo con doccia e lavabo mini. Cucina con lavastoviglie, microonde, lavatrice bollitore e macchina per il caffè. Fornelli a gas. Qualche pecca nella pulizia. Comunque esperienza assolitamente positiva.

Contradictory feeling

Handle in one bedroom was so broken that it was impossible open the door from the inside if you closed the door (extremely dangerous for example in case of fire). Bathroom was really hot because of the hot radiator and there was no possibility to turn it off - weather was quite hot too, so the whole apartment was hot. The floor was quite dirty (sand and dust). The wall clock had stopped (empty battery), the kitchen cabinet pull was partially off. Small but quite annoying things that affected the general feeling of the apartment. We had a late check out (1 pm), but the next customer knocked on our door at 10 am! So the keys are given the next customer and they might come to see the apartment although they were told that check in is at 3 pm. Anyway, the location was great although we knew the exact location of the apartment while getting the keys.

Kahden tähden huoneistohotelli Camdenissa

Hotellin vastaanotto sijaitsee eri rakennuksessa kuin itse huoneisto. Hämmentävää oli se, että rekisteröitymisen yhteydessä veloitettiin ylimääräinen 40 GBP "siivousmaksua" vain käteisellä. Kuittia ei annettu (veronkiertoa?). Ainakaan siivoukseen näitä ylimääräisiä summia ei käytetä, sillä huoneisto oli todella pölyinen. Harmillista oli myös se, että sälekaihtimet olivat rikki eikä pimennysverhoja ollut. Aurinko paistaa sisään todella varhain aamulla ja muutenkin lämmittää kesällä liikaa. Huoneiston varustelu ja sijainti Camdenissa metroaseman lähellä oli sinänsä ok. Uloskirjautuminen on jo klo 10 aamulla. Matkatavarat voi kyllä jättää toimistoon, mutta mitään valvontaa siellä ei näyttänyt olevan. Kuka tahansa kadulla kulkija olisi voinut poiketa sisään ja ottaa mukaansa kymmenien matkalaukkujen joukosta mieleisimmän.

Very noisy and extra cleaning fee

The flat itself was spacious and well equipped. The location is also very handy, though being on Camden High Street itself meant that the flat was so noisy I got no sleep whatsoever. I was on a business trip and had to work later a couple of nights - the noise was so bad that it even distracted me while working! The £40 cleaning fee was mentioned on the initial listing, though not clearly highlighted meaning that my booking came to more than I expected (and taking it over my budget). A good option if you're used to noise and a heavy sleeper, though otherwise a difficult place to sleep!
