Its a budget hotel in Thornton Heath if you want a romantic getaway or a London family holiday look elsewhere but if you just want a cheap hotel, for a night or two - by a station and/or walkable to Selhurst Park, this certainly does the job Bed was comfy. The room, and also the shared bathroom were clean. Room temperature fine. Had no issues with WiFi, although TV in my room didnt seem to work.

The room was clean and tidy although looking a little tired. I was alone so the bed was pretty comfortable and large enough for one person. Two adults would have been a squeeze. The on-suite was fairly clean and again, functional. Although the hotel is situated facing a busy road, I wasn’t disturbed by the traffic at all. I think for the price of a room in London, it was pretty good value. If necessary, I would stay there again albeit for just a night though.

It took the guy on reception 15 minutes to answer the bell. And another 20 minutes to find my booking. They won't let u take the room key out of the hotel. He tried to persuade my to pay more to upgrade the room. And they have a notice up saying if you give them a five star review the will give you 10 percent off a room or £5 in cash. Clearly they know the are not up to standard.

Room was small, In poor condition and not clean. The toilet seat was hanging off and I had to clean it before my wife would go near it. the sink leaked onto your feet when the tap was running. The radiator was rusty and the floor was in need of some serious TLC. The staff were helpful, and always about. That, and the cheap price are the only good things. Parking was only for 4 cars. Not great for us as we were the 5th one…they did let us park in the car wash opposite but we had to get up early to move it. My main annoyance was that It did NOT look like the pictures. I felt like I’d paid for a different ‘hotel’. Overall, very basic. Sadly I wouldn’t stay there again.
