Notting Hill charm

Amazing location in the heart of Notting Hill and everything close, incl several tube stops. Old house but very charming and the service was great. Nice breakfast service in the rooms and friendly staff. Special thanks to Alexandra who made our stay very pleasant.

Overpriced

Our room was in the basement quarters and was sort of dank. Mildewy smelling. The towels were old and scratchy. The carpet was not so clean. I feel like this room would have been worth it for $150. Not $450 that was paid. It just felt like a run down bb. To be fair, I didn’t see the main house quarters. Maybe those are nicer but overall, I was extremely disappointed for the price we paid. For the price they are charging, you’d expect a top notch room. There was random food sitting on a table outside the door in the hallway. The windows were drafty. The staff was very friendly and the location is great but just know, the at least some of the rooms are very musty and outdated.

Unfortunately this was not a good experience for my family. We arrived at 730pm and rang the outside bell for 5 minutes and no one let us in. Another guest happened to be coming back and let us in. The room was older and not quite as advertised (the 2nd full bed was a full sized mattress on the bottom of a twin bunk so it was hanging off the side). Our biggest challenge was the cat. It wasn’t clear that the owner had a cat (I should have asked as 3 of us are allergic but I didn’t think to). The owner said the cat doesn’t go into the rooms but within 5 minutes our eyes were red and the sneezing started. We decided to stay at a hotel down the road. Regardless of the cat the overall vibe wasn’t what we had hoped for given the price/area.

Super nettes Personal- hatten immer ein offenes Ohr :) Wir waren bereits ein paar mal im Juliettes und unsere Wahl fällt immer wieder auf dieses tolle B&B. Es ist ruhig aber doch mittendrin was die perfekte Mischung ist. Ein großes danke an Aleksandra und Emilia für unseren tollen Aufenthalt:)

Very friendly hosts and the breakfast was excellent, delivered to your room. There was a lot of furniture in the room which made it tight for us plus our suitcases. The B&B is in a beautiful area however and very close to restaurants and shops.

This was a unique B&B. The room slept 5 in a bunk bed and a full size bed. The room was tight with 5 and luggage but worked for overnight. It also was a short 15 minute drive to Heathrow.

Friendly, convenient, lovely!!

Brilliant location for Notting Hill/portobello market and also for the tube station. The owner was really friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Even a fresh pot of tea on arrival! Breakfast was brought to us in our room exactly the time we requested. Great selection and far too much to eat! Highly recommended. Would definitely stay there again.

Location was convenient to tube. Breakfast delivered to room was very convenient and generous continental style. Staff provided us with printing service (of emails) upon request -no problems! The atmosphere/accomodations were more dated than expected and estimated based on on-line photos. Manager was absolutely not open to any changes to contract that might entail a loss of revenue for them, irregardless of extenuating circumstances.

Best Place to Stay in London!

We travel a lot and this was truly one of the best stays we have had! Fantastic breakfast brought to our lovely room. Staff were so friendly. Great location and close to tube. This will be our only place to stay when we come into London.

Bien située dans joli quartier. Mais photos trompeuses! La maison est jolie certes mais on y a pas accès! Les chambres sont sur le côté dans le sous sol avec barreaux devant les fenêtres! Les lits ( 2 single) ne sont pas très confortables, le petit déjeuner servi en chambre ( impression d’enfermement) ne comporte ni confitures faites maison, ni jus orange frais ( industriel) et dés fromages de basse qualité ( babybel, boursin, frimage emballé pour Burger......) maison mal isolée, à côté d’une rue circulez donc étions réveillées dès 6h du matin ! Pour le prix demandé, la prestation n’est pas à la hauteur.....

5 people squeezed in one room. No space to open bags. Hard to get good sleep. Staff was caring. Housekeeping and breakfast were good. Location was good for the money. May not be suitable for a family.
