Poor service and facilities

We have stayed there for 3 days while the room and surrounding were acceptablly tidy but facilities and response from staff were disappponting. No one told us al the fridge were not working until we asked for, both hairdryer were not working and we need to get it replaced, 1/3 days did not clean our room. Finally, everytime we rang up for help with the above, service desk was not particularly responsive and there was once, thr guy cut me off

The hotel was simply luxury with everything on point. The room was roomy and beautiful, it had a separate sitting area where my toddler could run around. The king size bed was massive and most comfortable. The bathroom was magical, it came with a separate standing shower cubicle and a bath, The wardrobe area was spacious enough to fit your suitcases and it came with a safe. The Spa was the icing on the cake.. the Jacuzzi was warm and lovely and the pool was warm and clean. A house coat and slippers was provided in the rooms for the Spa. The staff were really lovely, welcoming and helpful, especially a black guy who wears glasses at the concierge. The lobbies were beautifully decorated and spacious with different areas. I had a lovely stay and can't wait to return.

Staff are great! But the hotel itself needs a cleanup in all common areas. The pool area is great for relaxing if it’s not to crowded. Food at BF was ok for a typical English BF. Bed was super comfy.

Sehr praktisches Hotel mit guter Anbindung und gut ausgestattete Zimmern. Der Pool und die Saunen sind auch super. Das Frühstück bietet eine große Auswahl. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist, dass die Flure dreckig waren und das Reinigungspersonal es offensichtlich nicht für notwendig erachte auch dort sauber zu machen.

Loved that you get access to the spa facilities for two hours a day. We enjoyed the sauna and cold bucket plunge. I also appreciated they have specific hours for children to use the pool so you can plan accordingly.

Paid nearly £300 for one night as a special treat and the experience was very disappointing. Requests for a high floor, a good view and a small romantic gesture were ignored and we were given a room with a very poor view. Check in was busy and unorganised, we had to pour our own welcome drink, and we were woken around 1am by loud guests returning to their rooms. The room itself was very average for the price. The biggest issue was being given one 250ml bottle of still water between two guests. When I asked for more at reception I was told it was £2.99 per bottle, or that tap water could be provided but was not recommended for drinking. Only after I said I would make a complaint was 2 more minuscule bottles of water suddenly offered for free. This is not acceptable for a hotel charging this amount. I would like to be contacted directly by the hotel manager to resolve this.
