We stayed at Sea Containers London for a couple of nights with our entire family. Well, almost. One of our sons couldn’t make it. His room had been pre-paid and non-refundable and while we didn’t like the idea of losing that money, we knew there was nothing we could do. When we checked in, we told the staff at the front desk so they could make the room available, and they graciously offered to give everyone in our party, nine of us in total spread over four rooms, free breakfast throughout our stay.
Congratulations. It’s very refreshing to deal with properly trained and empowered employees like that. A big shout out to Jairo, who took the lead and made sure to follow up.
