房間清潔，但很細。離火車站大約10分鐘步程。浴室無浴露，只有小肥皂。熱水瓶內發熱線生锈。早餐只有一部殼物機自己加牛奶，一部咖啡機，再加一人一盒仔乳酪。無升降機，要行長長的樓梯，行動不方便及有大件行李者請選擇其他酒店。

由於沒有lift ,梯級比較窄，住高層拎大件及重的行李不太方便。早餐非常普通。清潔房間時發現門的安全鍊壞了主動修理好。地點非常方便及寧靜。

I live in Taiwan, certainly the booking is written in Chinese when I received the confirmation of booking from Hotels. com. But all the critical information such as booking no, hotel name, booking name and check in date were both written in English and Chinese. Strangely, the front desk said couldn’t help me to check in cause the information were not ALL in English since he didn’t know Chinese. I explained to him but no use! Finally, I got the room key after a hard bargaining and tolerated his impolite attitude. What a discrimination! I will not choose this Hotel again.

房間雖少，尚算潔淨，尤其新装修浴室，只是花洒水力太弱，好像是大部份英國酒店的通病，可能是省水原因。地點十分方便，7~8 分鐘腳程到Victoria 火車站，找吃的很方便。酒店早餐也算ok.

A clean and very basic hotel near Victoria station

A clean and very basic hotel near Victoria station, about 10 mins walk from the station, good for travellers come and go between Gatwick airport. Restaurants are around and shopping mall near. Breakfast is also basic with hot toast, don't expect a buffet. Also note that the rooms are relatively small and a lot of stairs to climb.

Room was not what I had booked. Hotel offered to give me a 2nd room, but not next to my current room. I was not going to split up my kids. No A/C and fan didn’t work. Attendant offered very little help

Kleines, spezielles, londontypisches Hotel. Super zentral gelegen,hätte kaum besser sein können. Wir konnten einiges fußläufig erreichen und der Rest war mega unkompliziert von der Victoria Station zu erreichen. Unser Zimmer war im obersten Stockwerk,das Hinterste. Da wir an den gefühlt heissesten Tagen des Jahres in London waren, glich das Zimmer anfangs einer Sauna,wo auch der fest installierte Ventilator kaum Abhilfe schaffen konnte. Das Zimmer selbst war sehr sauber, zweckmäßig und gemütlich. Da unser Zimmer nach hinten raus ging, war es ruhig und vom Bett hatte man einen total schönen Ausblick über Londons Dächer. Frühstück war zweckmäßig und so,dass man zumindest satt in den Tag gestartet ist. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder hier einkehren.

スタッフはフレンドリーでよかった。施設は古めでエレベーターもないので重い荷物を持って階段を上がっていく人は大変。また、エアコンはなく扇風機。この時期はちょうどよかったけど夏は心配かも。部屋はとても狭いので、そこそこの値段で泊まれればいいや、という人向け。ウォーキングがてらビッグベンあたりまで行ける距離だったので、今回の目的としてまぁ満足。

We stayed in room #23. The window only opens about 6 inches and there is no air conditioning. All we had was a small fan. It had to be about 100 degrees in the room. The temperature was cooler outside the hotel. We did not sleep either night. We are from Miami and can handle the heat but this was really bad. Possibly a safety issue for somebody with health issues. The hotel needs to disclose this on their website that they do not have air conditioning.

Unfortunately my mother died and had to interrupt my stay from 4 to 1 day and the manager didn’t approve my refund even after offering price of death, besides that, the room was old, stained carpets, breakfast was a toast or cereal, not really breakfast, the only plus was the location, and the staff , other than that do yourself a favor an pay more for a better place where you are not jus one number but a person that might have a last minute death in the family to have some consideration for.

Everyone at the Dover was wonderful and quite helpful. The rooms are very old and if you are picky about quality of beds/ carpets/ tile- this is not the place for you. However the cleaning of the staff is wonderful, towels/ sheets all very nice. We did not wake up in time for breakfast. The hotel is in a great location which was why we picked it and compared to the prices of other hotels it is reasonable. We were happy! There is a safe you can use and they let you store luggage before and after your reservation time! All in all I would recommend with the caveat of the old and worn interior.
