The rioms were impeccable, hotel lobby was lavish, and the staff were hospitable. We only stayed for 1 night but it was a great experience. I definitely recommend this property and would look forward for future stay here.

The hotel had only re-opened after a major refurbishment . I only checked-in less than a week after re-opening. Everything needless to say was spotless and totally brand new. The staff were superb and well-trained and very helpful. Breakfast was a joy and the dining area was superb, a great panoramic view of much of central London. Probably the best hotel I've ever been in to date. I can totally recommend it

I genuinely had a really lovely stay here. I’ve watched it have a total refurb for the past 18 months and was looking forward to staying there. I wasn’t disappointed. The rooms were brand new, I don’t believe anyone had stayed in mine as the steamer was still boxed! Well designed, had one of the best sleeps in London (I stay for business), probably due to the inner door from the corridor. Breakfast was a lovely affair. Nice space, music a tad too loud but the food quality and service was very good. I had poached eggs on avocado toast, I asked for a side of bacon (which was a surcharge of about £6 - which seemed steep for 2-3 rashers of crispy bacon). I’ll definitely stay here again on business and would also recommend a leisure hotel.

Fantastic two night stay! High quality and modern full renovation of this classic Russell Square Hotel. Housekeeping were very efficient, room made on the second day as well presented and fresh as when we first arrived. The roof top bar and restaurant provides one of the best views across this part of London with seating ideal for couples to large groups. Front of house and reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Genuinely kind and welcoming. A fantastic stay with not a single thing I could complain about which is very impressive for the hotel’s first week of reopening. Would fully recommend to friends and family.

Awesome location! Stayed there opening weekend. Walked to British Museum, 1/2 block from tube. Rooms were a good size, bedding and towels heavenly. Had a hard time navigating the high tech lights. Couldn't figure out the google cast from laptop. Called downstairs but no one ended up coming. Assuming new commissioning challenges so not a big deal. Champagne on arrival, stunning patio overlooking London for breakfast, which was decadent and had an outstanding variety. Would recommend!

Visited last weekend after the recent refurb, very impressed. Welcome drink on arrival , Gorgeous decor. Room was huge, all staff amazing. Super friendly to us and my little boy. Very chatty. Didn’t get to make use of the rooftop area but looked fab, we were only there 1 night and had a packed itinerary. Great location, We walked to postal museum and then on the evening walked back from Covent Garden. Robes in the room and comfy bed. We will be back and recommend this hotel to friends and family. We paid around £205 with an nhs discount and I’ve paid that was premier inn at King’s Cross before so as you can imagine there is no comparison. Hope it doesn’t go up in price too much!

Gosh, where do I even begin?! From the moment I walked up to the hotel, I was greeted by the friendliest, most vibrant bellmen! The entire check-in process went so smoothly, and during that time, they took my suitcases up to my room. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the hotel’s hospitality stand out from the very beginning. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and well taken care of throughout my stay. My girl Diana at the front desk went above and beyond her role—she is truly such a gem and I want to thank her again for making my experience that much greater from beginning to end <3 The upstairs restaurant was fabulous—very trendy and such a vibe. I know I’m probably spelling his name incorrectly, but Sayf really took care of me every time I went up there. He always made me feel so welcome, which was genuinely comforting. Aside from the amazing staff, the food was great! I had brunch there one day with a girlfriend, and she loved the place too, by the way! The views were immaculate, and dinner was also delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London. I definitely plan on returning! <3

We loved this room so much! Soundproof, sunny, huge for london, cozy bed and couch, great breakfast on the roof, and everyone who worked there was so sweet. Few hiccups with housekeeping, but it didn’t take away from the expertise. 100% will be back.

Absolutely LOVED my stay here. Everything was a 10/10. Staff was amazing especially Saudi (sorry for the misspelling). I was injured before my trip and they were very accommodating to all my needs. Cant wait to comeback.

We had a great stay for one night to celebrate my son’s 16th birthday. The moment we walked through the door the staff were friendly and attentive, the property is very new and fresh. I had contacted the hotel before hand to ask for a higher room and this was granted. When we came back from our show the staff had put in balloons and little message on the mirror wishing my son a happy birthday which was a lovely touch. The location is excellent and is walking distance to all the shows and some of London’s main attractions. I liked the little dressing area with the mirror and hairdryer, and the bathroom was pristine! We had breakfast included and what a great view to have to eat it. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again. Thank you to all the staff who were helpful and friendly.

What a stunning hotel. It is beautiful and the rooms, for London, are perfect. We were aware the hotel has only opened in the last 5 weeks and it clearly has a bit of teething issues. I still can't knock the surroundings and potential. Few minor issues - on check-in we were given zero information (where breakfast was/where our room was!) which seemed odd (we chased another member of staff to find out). Secondly - house keeping didn't change the dirty coffee cups, restock teabags/coffee/biscuits or replace the water. When reception were informed approximately an hour later we were given more coffee pods and water but no fresh cups/biscuits. Fairly minor but details that can easily be fixed. Breakfast each morning allowed us one dish from the menu. Each morning (3 in total) we waited in excess of 20-30 minutes for our breakfast and it was always cold. The first morning I sent our eggs back because I can't do cold eggs but even after the waitress on day three said 'I'll make sure your eggs are hot' they came out cold (fridge cold). Again sounds like moaning but they are little details that are easily fixed and I suspect is down to efficiency in the kitchen. I still would go back to this hotel and do hope to in the future but the early days of staff settling need to be expected. Absolutely fabulous location and the evening food in the bar was good.
