Parking was easy but not secure, lots of pubs and restaurants nearby. Unfortunately never stayed at the white house but was directed to the Seymour hotel 2 doors away. Room on the top floor was tiny, no lift and 61 steps with luggage for OAP's is not good. Rubbish strooned around the parking area, rats abundant. Overall disappointing.

I recently stayed at The White House Hotel in London for one night. Considering the price, it was reasonable value for a short stay, and the gentleman who greeted us on arrival was welcoming and friendly. As I use crutches to walk, he kindly changed our room so it would be closer to the dining room, which I appreciated. However, I wasn’t informed that the dining room was located downstairs. As there is no lift, this meant I had to use the stairs to access breakfast, which was difficult and is something that should be made clear to guests with mobility needs. Although the booking was for two people, the room felt more suited to a single occupant. There was very limited space, making it quite cramped for two guests. The room itself was very dated, and unfortunately the bathroom was not as clean as I would expect from a hotel. The breakfast area, located in the basement, also appeared tired, with the carpet lifting on the stairs leading down. The buffet breakfast was quite limited, felt rather old-fashioned, and the dining area did not appear as clean as it should have been. Overall, for the price and a one-night stay, the hotel was acceptable. However, improvements to cleanliness, maintenance, breakfast quality, and clearer communication regarding accessibility would make for a much better guest experience.
