Adirondack Great Camp style home on beautiful Blue Mountain Lake
10/10 Excellent
"Rarely has a home captured my heart as this one did! From the moment we walked in we were in awe of the exquisite Adirondack decor, the beauty of the lake and surrounding mountains, and all the wonderful comforts of home provided. We savored being together with our grown children, our grandchildren, and sons in law as we celebrated my husband’s 75th birthday. Spending time talking and enjoying each other’s company while listening to a crackling fire will be one of the many great memories made during our stay. Wendy and John could not have been more helpful and gracious and we so look forward to future family gatherings at this magnificent home."

Beautiful cottage on scenic Adirondack hobby farm
10/10 Excellent
"I always try to find unique places to stay for my birthday and found this adorable hobby farm! The moment we arrived chickens and a sweet pup, Bella, greeted us! I am always super harsh on beds but these didn’t totally wreck our bodies, like most rentals cheap mattresses do. My kid loved the cute cubby-like bed and said they would look out the window to stare at the stars. The first night we needed firewood and messaged the host to see how I can purchase theirs and she was totally laid back saying I can grab some and we can catch up for payment at a later time. Then a field mouse appeared in the living room via a large hole on the side of the stairs. I messaged the host and by the next morning they dropped off some traps, like I inquired. Wildlife is expected so it didn’t bother me so much. My husband brought his motorcycle and enjoyed the freshly paved and windy fun roads for a couple of hours. We explored other towns and just enjoyed leaf peeping. On our last night we took advantage of the pizza night, which turned out to be delicious and an overall cool concept! We chatted with the host, who is super sweet. We strolled in the historical cemetery next door, acknowledging the many generations who’s lived in the area. If I wasn’t always looking for new and different places to experience this would be (and possibly in the future) be a repeat!! I’ll just note, I always bring a bunch of my own cookware due to a kid with celiac disease but you could get by with what they provide."
PET-FRIENDLY - Twilight Cabin a Unique Waterfront Log Cabin

"We loved the Twilight Cabin! Absolutely Adorable and So Cozy with the Gorgeous Stone Fireplace! We couldn’t find the hairdryer so I called the host Dick and he brought a new one right over. I cooked two full meals in the very efficient kitchen. We loved the grounds took walks to the waterfalls and pond! We had a great 3 days!"
