「I had a lovely stay! Cliff was a wonderful host and the breakfasts were very tasty. I was visiting Southport solo to see where my father was born. It's a cute town and this lodging is highly recommended.」

「On arrival we were allocated a room 526 on fifth floor however on checking room felt it was rather tired also some water ingress on windowsill where rain water had blown through. On request we changed room and allocated room 431 on floor below. Upon entering room there was a very strong smell of bleach from bathroom and similarly to last bedroom fixtures and fittings look tired and worn. 「Arrived at 5pm & looked ok but that did last for long as on inspection of the room the previous male guest had put body fluid on the wall & not been noticed by the cleaners. I complained to the manager & had to wait till after 12am(Midnight) for another room. 「Super host and great variety at breakfast. Felt very looked after and welcomed. Room clean with adequate shower and plenty of lovely little extras. Only negative was the pillow was a little lumpy and duvet a little heavy, had a very hot night even with the fan in the room. Couldn't open window because of noise from the seagulls! That said I would recommend a stay here. Lot better than other b&bs I've tried in Blackpool and very central.」
