Valletta Lower Barrakka Gardens Hotels

"Left my credit card at the front desk when charged the $2 tax and it was stolen. Luckily my card company caught the first charge as fraud but disappointed that the hotel kept and lost the card. Beyond that hotel lobby was small and chaotic, elevator was slow, AC was broken. Not as expected."

"Incredibly friendly staff throughout. The hotel could do with a refurb as dated in some areas, however, very clean. Please note the entire St Julian’s area is under construction and starts very early and finishes late - which could imped your relaxation. "

"We visited around Easter and the majority of the hotel's features did not seem to be available. The outdoor bar was closed, as was the steam room and sauna. The hot tub was also more of a lukewarm tub. The "private beach" is also very small. That said, the staff we friendly, professional and courteous. The breakfast was pretty standard hotel fare, and the hotel is quite centrally located if you are interested in visiting Valetta."

"Only some items were available from the menu every day. The music is loud- tv first page after you booked says there are some sound proof options- the music and karaoke sessions go on to at least 2 am- it’s fine if you come back after that or you can sleep with the music otherwise expect a less sleep night "
