「After BOOKING I was sent a message with some booking info.
In that message there was a “total price from channel: fee”
I overlooked that IMPORTANT detail!
After checking out I reviewed my bank statement noticed that I had a charge in that same exact amount.
I went back to message the property letting them know about that charge.
Well little did I know that’s a “reservation fee”.
If I would’ve known prior to booking I would’ve just booked the Albert Hotel on Main literally ended up costing me...

「We had a wonderful stay at the Gateway Gathering House. The location was perfect — close to wineries and town, yet very quiet and peaceful. 「The hot tub was great! Coffee so so. My husband gets up @ 6am. Me @ 8 a keurig is much more user friendly when only 2 c of coffee are needed. Nice & quiet but still close enough to town. Disappointed there was a burn ban so no fire pit. We understand burn bans as we are E. Texans. But since it has been in effect since Oct. 14 I feel it should have been stated in your description. We were looking forward to sitting outside. Oh well…….」

「As advertised, this was a cozy, quaint, and a bit quirky cottage. Very charming and reflective of the area, adding to the fun of the weekend. Instructions were clear, location easy to find, and check in/out was easy. Ample parking. Loved the courtyard with water wheel and fishpond. The cottage was very clean and welcoming.
