“We had a lovely stay at Drum Manor. Valerie was a great host, making sure we were comfortable in our room and then the next morning, providing a delicious breakfast. The rooms are in great condition and nicely decorated, including a freestanding rolltop bath! There are 360 degree views as Drum Manor is on a hilltop. Valerie gave us a great dinner recommendation in Hillsborough (The Plough) so would also recommend that. 10/10 would definitely stay again.”

We had requested a cot for our room, which was already set up – such a thoughtful touch that made things so much easier for us as a family with a young baby. “This was our second visit thid year...a super place to stay the night before heading home on the ferry. Large well appointed bedroom and first class bathroom. Whilst not a traditional hotel as such, Edenmore Golf & Country Club is much better than that. The General Manager who booked us in could not have been have been any more welcoming and pleasant. Great value all round...we will be back.”

“We had the most wonderful stay at Blackwell House in Scarva! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome — nothing was too much trouble. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, full of charm and character, with every little detail thought of to make guests feel at home. The food was incredible (and plentiful!) and the rooms were spotless, cosy, and luxurious all at once. It’s one of those rare places where you can truly switch off and relax, and yet still feel utterly spoiled.……
