"Amazing apartment on first floor directly on the beach. The kids loved playing on the beach outside and made full use of the indoor, garden and beach toys. We arrived to a massive home cooked meal on the first night and the apartment was fully stocked. We loved the location, on a quiet beach with local restaurants. "

"The hotel looks very nice from the outside and also in the pictures. The view is simply stunning and truly impressive. Unfortunately, the location is a bit inconvenient – there are no tavernas or attractions around. Although it is presented as a five-star hotel, in our opinion it is more like a 3.5-star standard. The food was often cold, very monotonous, and with little variety. There was no live cooking, not even at breakfast. The all-inclusive drinks were quite average, as expected, but the paid drinks at the bar were excellent – some of the best I have ever had. This hotel is not the right choice for people who want to explore Crete. It is rather for those who just want to pay for an all-inclusive stay, relax at the hotel, and do nothing else. The cleaning service was poor, and the sunbeds on the beach were dirty – something unacceptable for a five-star hotel. Everything seems like more as quantity rather then quality. On a positive note, Irina at the reception was absolutely fantastic and made our stay really enjoyable in terms of entertainment. Also, Maria at breakfast was very friendly and left us with a great impression. Overall, the hotel left us with a disappointing impression, and we definitely would not book it again. "

"Location. Location. Location! You can't beat this unit for a beautiful view and proximity to Lygaria Beach! Demetrios was an attentive host and communicated with us within minutes of our questions. We were happy to stay at the unit the entire time. We enjoyed the sun and nearby restaurants..as well as kayaking, snorkeling, and paddle boarding! We had a very wonderful time!"

"We had an amazing week at Villa Ligaria. The sea view is beautiful and the location couldn’t be better. The beach is only a short walk away and there are a number of delicious tavernas to eat at. Angelika gave us some fantastic recommendations which really enhanced our stay. The cleaning service was great and we were delighted with the gifts of olive oil, fruit and cakes. I would recommend Villa Ligaria to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in a stunning location."

She showed us through the entire property and detailed multiple things for us to like how to operate appliances or the locations of items. Her attention to detail was absolutely stunning. It was evident from the beginning that this wasn’t just a rental property for her, it was a passion and an expression of how she takes care of guests. If you have any doubt, this is not a standard vacation rental, this is a well designed and thoughtfully executed experience curated by an owner who truly loves making people feel welcome and comfortable with an emphasis on luxury! "The apartment is modern, with all the expected features and an amazing terrace from where you can enjoy the sunset. It is located in a gated community that offers covered parking, a pool with a nice restaurant, tennis court and access to a small but beautiful private beach with free beach lounges and umbrellas.Katerina, the property manager, was very responsive, helpful, cordial and was always in touch with us offering her assistance. Overall we had a great time at Theseus Villge and we would be happy to return."
