The Hotel was very clean staff amazing,very good breakfast,I don't drive but lots of parking spaces. We where minutes from the new forest with lots of tracks to walk, we saw lots of new forest pony's plus a couple of Donkys. Close to public transport, so we visited Southampton in under 1 hour. Live entertainment at the hotel and a great bar,we enjoyed the stay and we will definitely go again,oh yes bathroom had a huge swirl pool bath

Really nice stay, staff very helpful and accomodating, we were on the top floor and the room was very warm but the whirlpool bath was an unexpected bonus. Only negative was people smoke just outside the restaurant and bar and with the windows open the smoke came im. A separate smoking area away from the hotel would be better.

Ideal location for the town and the New forest. Just a walk across the road and you are in the New forest. Lots of parking available. Staff were lovely and friendly. There is a bus stop right outside in case you do not drive or wish not to drive. We did have breakfast and dinner, both of which were very good. Caters for breakfast and dinner and has a bar. Room was clean, had everything that you needed. This hotel allows dogs. There was no smell of dogs throughout the building and not one dog hair to show. I myself have dogs ,they did not come with us this time but maybe in the future. As a dog owner I do not like the smell of dog. So compliments to housekeeping and to the dog owners. I arrived in may, I could not believe that I slept under a 4.5 duvet which was nice and warm. I would recommend this hotel .Its great value for money ,great location.

It's a short walk into town. The room was clean and fresh. We didn't need to interact with the staff much but everyone was helpful and pleasant when we did.

Room was clean. Didn't like not having a blind in the window in the bathroom. Appreciate we were at the back of the hotel but there were escape stairs that could easily see in to the bathroom. Staff were lovely.
