This was our first time staying at The Stag and it was amazing. The staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble,the room was comfortable and equipped with fans to accommodate the hot weather. The breakfast was fresh and the choice was great. I would definitely recommend this as an extremely comfortable base for a New Forest break.

We loved our stay at the Stag lovely big room and bathroom. The staff are wonderful very helpful. Special thanks to Maria for letting me put some meat in her fridge (from the butcher's across the road) also Erin who was lovely. Hopefully we'll be back soon.

Had a wonderful stay - staff were very helpful, had a lovely large and clean room. Hotel is right on the main road through Lyndhurst and it could be a problem to some people but we were fine with it. There were no charging points for iPhone/ipad which would have been useful but again not a big problem. Would happily go back for another stay.

This was an amazing stay, staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had all the amenities one could need. The bar was happy, lively and a great little stop off. The food for both dinners and breakfast was great quality, always piping hot and the staff couldn’t be more generous with their attentiveness. Would stay again in a heartbeat - great location too!
