Quiet cozy cabin
Would just like to say thank you so much for allowing us to stay at this beautiful cabin with our family of 4 and 2 pups. We had a wonderful time staying in the up to date cabin with a nice backyard including the hot tub. The river runs in front of the cabin and there are serval spots to sit along the riverside. We loved it so much we even extended our stay. Thank you again the place was very lovely.

Peaceful Stay
This property was very relaxing. The inside of the cabin was so nicely done with clean up to date appliances and the back patio with the hot tub was sooo nice. The river was steps away from our porch and it was truly lovely!!!

Rustic with a touch of glamour
This place is in a perfect location. Not far from the RMNP, and Boulder/Denver. We loved it there. The updates were wonderfully done. We want to come back in the winter when there is snow. The creek is right outside the cabin. The fire pits were well maintained and super cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub as well. Definitely worth every penny.

It was wonderful,Lyons and Colorado were beautiful and the property was perfect for our hikes and sightseeing. It was a great place to relax and unwind. Will definitely come back

Overpowering cleaning/chemical smell - Poor customer support by host
Unfortunately, this has been very bad experience with a VRBO rental/host. When checking into the cabin, the chemical/cleaning smell was so bad that it caused both to have headaches. We contacted Heidi & VRBO within an hour of arriving and tried to air out the cabin by opening up windows/doors. Heidi said that the place was deep cleaned, which may have been the cause. When I explained that we were struggling with the smell & was not sure if we could stay, she stated that she could not come to the property & she did not have another property that we could change to because everything was booked. Because this was our anniversary, & we did not want to spend the night with the smell/headache's, we left and booked a separate hotel room. After leaving & letting her know, Heidi actually did go to the cabin. She left a voicemail saying that her & her handyman felt nothing was wrong & that she was not willing to provide any level of refund. We absolutely had a different experience on the smell. Also, please google the area if you do book with her. The outside pictures are misleading: not private, community fire pit, next to busy highway. Could have overcome this if not for the smell, but be aware. Definitely not worth the price based on our experience and her response/communication. Fortunately, we have had great experiences with other VRBO rentals/hosts (with mutually excellent reviews of the host and they of us) so just had bad luck with Heidi.

Great place to stay
We were there for 3 weeks. The Pine cabin was a perfect size for us to have enough room in the cabin and in the yard. We saw a lot of short term visitors come and go, and they all made good neighbors. The cabins are a great base for activities around the area, and they are also a lovely and peaceful place to just hang out and watch to the river. The cabin was well appointed with everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable and the hosts were often on the property and available for questions. We were warned about the wifi and brought a wifi booster (since we were there so long and working) and that helped. Would definitely return and recommend!

What a GEM!!!
