The house exceeded my expectations; the pictures on the site do not do it justice. It is beautiful, with calm surroundings that provide a peaceful atmosphere.The place was immaculate, and Joana and her family made us feel welcome, as if we were part of their family. They were always ready to help, and I can't thank them enough. They definitely deserve a "Best Host" award!The kitchen is well-equipped and modern. I live in the United Kingdom and was initially worried about cooking. However, upon arriving at the property, I was blown away. It truly felt like a home away from home.What can I say about the location? It was peaceful and beautiful, surrounded by mountains, and the views were exceptional.Two large supermarkets are just a 10-minute walk away, and they are very affordable. I found delicious, budget-friendly food at Pingo Doce Canteen. I definitely recommend visiting if you’re like me and on a budget!The stunning beaches are only about a 15-minute walk away. There are two beaches to choose from. The people in the area are friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay. The location is a bit hilly, but Madeira is built on mountains, so you will get fit and lean during your holiday.Thank you, Joana, and please send my regards to your family!
