“The property is not decorated remotely like the photos. Bare walls. Everything is very dated and rundown. The house is large with lots of room but a house that size has to be cleaned much better. Bad dust everywhere, floors were sticky, inside all of the kitchen cabinets were filthy. Half the lights in the house didnt work or we the fixtures were missing. Dishwasher was broken, washing machine smelled really bad. Outside landscaping, everything was overgrown and unkept. The path to the driveway……

“To whom it concerns I had contacted the host like five to six times before we arrived and did not receive any contact until she sent info to get in the house which gave a code for the box and didn’t state that you had to go in the garage and that’s where the box was once my sister and I figured out we went thru garage to get in there was no heat I tried calling her no answer so then I texted and then she replied back and sent some one my sister and I went to Walmart to buy electric blankets and……

“Very nice cottage, on a Quiet lake! Its in a Central location, to view all the tourist stops. We followed my vehicles map, and entered the property from a two track trail that was interesting, as it was getting dark! It was too cool to use the boats, but it was nice that they were available! Plan on driving a distance to get groceries, AND check the expiration dates on purchased food! I Highly recommend this property!”

“This property worked out well for a 3 generation family vacation. The small cottages accommodated 2 elder couples, the larger cottage was a nice place for gathering and preparing shared meals. There was plenty of space and privacy to spread out, play yard games and enjoy the on the water activities. I am sure we will consider visiting again. The location provided easy access to Mackinaw City, Cheybogan and Wilderness State Park…”

“We loved our stay at Huron Breeze Cottage! Terry, the host, was fantastic! He was super responsive to questions and helped us with restaurant recommendations. The cottage is quaint and was perfect for our group. We loved that it was right in the heart of Mackinaw City and walkable to everywhere! A bonus was that the bathroom has been updated from the listing pictures and now has a bright vanity, lots of storage, and a beautiful walk in shower! We would definitely stay here again! ”
