“Beautiful property on a beautiful island. The staff was nice and helpful we were seated by the window for dinner and the view was beautiful and the food was good.”

“Located one block from the Star Line Ferry dock, easy walking distance from downtown shopping and historical sites. Enjoyed the view from the front porch, and the warmth of the fireplace during our visit in the fall. Highly recommend a meal in the 1852 Grill Room. ”

“Beautiful area but not close to anything. Horse taxi round trip was $20 per person. One restaurant close by. Biking feasible but very hilly on unpaved roads. Walk into town was more than 2 miles which is fine in nice weather. Room was nice with frig and microwave, balcony, comfy bed. The island is not senior friendly and expensive. Budget accordingly.”
