「Hotel Cassendra was a real find. The staff were so lovely and really couldn't do enough to make my stay more pleasant. No question or request was too great or small for them. It is up a steep hill so.wpuld make quite a hike from Kandy but its maybe 300 rupees in a tuk tuk to get up. Very easy to walk down into Kandy however, and it also passes the viewpoint. When you get to the Royal park, there is a lane to the right of it and that ia a handy shortcut into town. It's honesly only a 10min walk....

The building, which has been beautifully restored and appointed, sits in arguably the best location above Kandy and the warm and elegant hospitality was memorable. We cannot recommend more highly! 「Convenient location. Just close to all main attraction and restaurants, such as the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and Kandy lake. The hotel itself looks elegant and the maintenance is quite good. I especially enjoy the life that you can feel the living history of the hotel. It is also conformable to stay in the room. Good choice or stay here of you visit Kandy.」

「整體來說很出色，早餐也很豐盛，不過我們住的 711 房冷氣無法控溫，所以晚上睡覺時覺得很冷，另外感覺地板很薄隔音很差，我們入住的第二個晚上三更半夜樓上不斷傳來腳步聲與他們製造的一堆噪音讓人很難入睡，除此之外沒什麼好挑剔的。」

「The house is a bit up-hill. Better take a local taxi to drive you there. The host gave me a shortcut to walk down to the main road which is much convenient and fast for down-hill. This is a homestay, the host is living on the ground floor and 3 guestrooms on the second floor. I do love the common area upstair very much. Sit down with a cup of tea to relax for a whole day is the best moment in the house. The room is clean and comfortable. Though hot water seems not very work but still fine for...
