This was the 2nd time my wife and I rented this property. The first time was 3 years ago when I proposed in the kitchen, so this property has a special meaning to us. It's close enough to the restaurants and stores in town, but yet far enough away from town that you feel it's quiet and private. The master bedroom has a very nice king sized bed and attached en suite. The kitchen is sizable (but could use a Keurig - so if you like to brew K-Cups, bring your own Keurig) and well-stocked with dinnerware, glassware and silverware. An in-unit washer/dryer is a bonus, and easy access to the garage or parking area is a benefit. The view off the patio is stunning, especially in the fall. It's also steps away from the Mammoth Town Loop trail, so you can start the trail at the condo, and then loop around town and back. The only disappointment we had was that the smart TV was subject to the low quality internet that plaques Mammoth: there were days, when the town was bustling with leaf-peepers that we could not access any streaming service on the TV. Once the crowds thinned we were able to watch Netflix or Prime without an issue. The local cable service gives you some options for cable TV, but no streaming on there: just on the smart TV.
I would recommend this property for a single couple or two couples (the 2nd bathroom is a full bath with shower/tub combo and the 2nd bedroom has a queen, though no TV), or a small family. With it's location, lower level living (the multi-level units in this complex consist of 3 levels: entry on level 1, main living and 2 bedrooms on level 2, and master suite on level 3) it's idea for a family with small children, or couples that would prefer no steps in the property.
My wife and I will certainly return to this place, probably next summer or fall.
