Relaxing getaway in a lovely space

This is our second year staying in Manzanita for a long weekend this home made it so special and comfortable. The proximity to the beach can't be beat. The space has everything you need and is also filled with art that gives it a cozy, creative vibe. We look forward to staying again!

Ideal Family Spot

Private Idaho was an ideal place to stay for our family vacation in Manzanita! The house is well designed with an efficient layout that lives large, great color choices, and cozy furniture. Adorable home in amazing location.

We loved everything about our stay here. The house and yard are so lovely. Amazing, relaxing aesthetic inside and out. Clean, fun, comfortable, great light and well appointed. The location is amazing. We were so sad to leave.

Fishy towels made a rocky start

This place cleans their own linens, not the rental company, so I had trouble getting the towels cleaned. They had a fishy odor when used...as did the kitchen linens- it took over a day for clean ones to be delivered. The potholders were greasy and it all left me and my family queasy. The house has little knick knacks and lightweight little lamps that are not secured to the tables, so its not kid-friendly. The fence yard is mostly rock and stone- hard on a dog who is taught to not relieve itself on the hardscape and not a place for kids to play. The house is cobbled together - the 1st floor bathroom has a pocket door that is hard to use, and there is a half foot drop from the floor to the shower floor. The location and supplies were very good and other housekeeping was clean. The living room furniture needs better cleaning or replacement.
