“This historic landmark inn is huge. The rooms have high ceilings and antique features with comfortable beds and amenities. If modern is what you need, then this is not your place. It is historic and beautiful and awesome staff. There is so much to marvel over in this Inn. There is a lovely café on site in the rear lobby that has delicious coffees and bagels.”

“The Schenectady county fair was being held right outside the hotel. It was a disaster to get into the hotel parking lot because of road closures for the fair. The music was extremely loud in the rooms until 10:30 PM. Toms of people just lingering, smoking pot in the parking lot and entrance, The hosts were great, the rooms and grounds were clean but very old and worn. The breakfast ladies were phenomenally friendly and helpful. It should have been shared with guests that the fair would……

“This is such a great unique property. Always nice, friendly staff. We stay here when going to concerts at SPAC (40-minute drive).”

“It is a small hotel - 4 floors - and is in need of better maintenance. Wallpaper was peeling in our room and one of the USB bedside ports was broken/useless. Staff didn't clean our room the first day. It was an OK stay but nothing to write home about. It is not a bad place to stay but don't expect world-class accommodations. Grounds were well maintained.”

“Price wasn’t unreasonable Ram the Clerk on Friday check in it appeared as though he wasn’t interested in position. Asked for a quiet room towards the Back of hotel. It appears as though he was filling the room in the back first. Long day of travel. Other guests coming in and out the room doors are heavy and they slam shut. Not good at 3 am! Breakfast or whatever it was called coffee and cereal in a small room of the hotel. Probably most definitely will not recommend”

“No sliding or automated door at entrance to facilitate movement of luggage in and out of the property. Door to my room would not lock. Sound of people running up and down the hallway all night long 3 o’clock in the morning talking in the hallway entrance and exit is only through the main lobby side doors do not operate ? I was told not to use them. Room was OK except the door were not lock when I pulled it. Shut on exit”
