OFF THE BEATEN PATH--Cassange Beach is waiting for you at Terrabruza, a sun-dappled open air home hidden in the tropical forests on a narrow isthmus between the Atlantic Ocean and the sweetwater Cassange Lake. The two-bedroom main house and the two-bedroom guesthouse features high ceilings, wrap-around porches and comfortable king-sized beds and AC units in each bedroom, ensuring a phenomenal night's sleep for all guests. With high-speed internet, a spacious cook's kitchen with all modern appliances, and a dining table that seats eight people, it’s easy to get comfortable in this idyllic setting. It’s a great place to disconnect for as long as you'd like; you can watch entertainment on the 65" Samsung smart TV or just lie in a hammock to unwind in the ocean breeze.
There is a washing machine and dryer on the property as well as a place to hang laundry in the sunshine. With year-round temperatures averaging between 68-86°F/ 20-30°C, this secluded paradise is excellent any season.
The property has shorelines on both the Atlantic Ocean and the sweetwater Lagoa do Cassange. A short walk on sandy trails will take you to either body of water. The lake is shallow and very calm, a perfect spot for children to play and for adults to use the kayaks on premises. It is also the site of many gorgeous colorful sunsets. The beautiful Praia do Cassange is sparsely populated, ensuring peaceful and private oceanside relaxation. It is a fantastic place to watch the sunrise or the full moon under the shelter of a cozy cabana. Cassange Beach is the nesting site for 4 species of marine turtles, so there’s always a good chance to see them poking their heads out of the water.
This home is truly relaxing, a special kind of nourishing and regenerative rhythm that a tropical vacation can provide. It's lush romance creates an ideal private space to build or renew a relationship. You can hear the ocean from the house at night and wake up to the birds and the monkeys in the morning.
The Peninsula of Maraú is populated by charming villages and small seaside towns where you can purchase fresh produce and other foods. Numerous restaurants and pousadas can provide top-notch cuisine from the region within a 30-minute drive. And, if you want to venture out from the privacy of Terrabruza, you can seek out the festivals and parties full of the warm people of Bahia, who love to dance and celebrate life.
