“From the road, the front of the Lodge is such a pretty building. The lobby and surrounding areas including indoor and outdoor seating and fireplaces, are so appealing to the eye to just sit and take in all the scenery. The pool area is secluded and very relaxing. The ambience if the Lodge means you can switch off and relax. Perfect location”

“Overall, amazing! Nice pool area. Bartender was absolutely amazing! Very happy and smiley. Downside: the sheer curtain on the second floor had a huge rip in it. The wallpaper in the elevators is peeling off pretty badly. The fan in our bathroom did not work at all. Some front desk staff did not speak English at all, which is weird. But we would definitely be back to that property again!”

“Would have preferred a ground floor room, as we are getting older with s/w limited mobility. But climbing the stairs was probably good for us. We asked for, and received, a late check-out time, which was very helpful.”

“First, we brought three large pieces luggage for this long trip. The hotel offered us a room on the sixth floor without helping us carry our luggage or even telling us how to go to the sixth floor. The highest floor the elevator could reach was the fourth floor, so we had to carry our luggage a long way up to the sixth floor using the stairs, and the next day, down to the first floor as well. Second, I’m a VIP member of Hotels.com, and the website clearly stated that this hotel would provide VIP……

“My only complaint is you can hear people playing basketball early in the morning and late at night on their bball court. ”
