“What a great night at the Catherine wheel. We met Debbie when we checked in and she was so warm and friendly she made everything very easy for us. The room was clean, modern and very quaint. “We checked in approx 6.45pm (en-route to dropping our daughter back at her uni digs in Bath & returned after) on a dark January evening. Seemed to be in the middle of nowhere, but we found it OK. Welcomed by Victoria - Steve (owner) was on holiday. Shown to our room & how we had access to the lounge & kitchen. Such a lovely house. Lots to look at. No TV in our room, so thought we’d watch the one downstairs - it wasn’t to be, though, as we couldn’t find the remote control - lol! Too late by then……
