“The room had a terrible odor. When asked to correct it the staff just sprayed air freshener in the room. The kitchen area didn’t have any utensils pots pans dishes, cups nothing. The phone in the room didn’t work and when we called maintenance, they came in. They said we can’t get it to work and left it at that. They didn’t offer daily cleaning of the room or every other day cleaning of the room. They said you have to be there a minimum of four days before the room is cleaned. Our dirty towels……

“The motel was fine. Nothing was bad or good. I saw one worker while I was there. She was talking to another client so I went downstairs to talk to her about extending my stay by a night. She said that would not be a problem and that she would just charge my card another day. Everything else was done on-line. My room was fine, but my mattress seemed worn out. I've always enjoyed the location of the motel, being right on the main road and on the channel across the road from Lake Ruth!”
