“The AC was broken. I informed the front desk and got excuses. They had other complaints about the ac unit and did nothing about it. Ran very poorly. Would never recommend staying here.”

“The whole property seemed to be nicely updated-paint, furnishings, appliances, etc. The Birchy is also conveniently located. We would definitely stay at The Birchy again.”

“VERY rundown. The AC doesn’t work- blows air but doesn’t cool the room. It’s a fan. The blow dryer didn’t work at all. There were at least two types of bugs in our room- ants and beetles. The floor was dirty. There’s only one light bulb out of 4 working in the bathroom. Oil dripping out of the exhaust fan in the bathroom. Musty smell in the room. The mattress was more like a trampoline than a bed with how thin and bouncy it was. Stains on the chair. Would not recommend. The only thing that was……

“All I can say is this was an OK property. To be fair, it really depends on what you are looking for. This would be a great hotel for some in town for an extended period of time (construction worker etc). Each unit had a nicely equipped kitchenette, but it was a more of an extended stay hotel, which I should have known by the name. Again, it was not bad by any means, but more on the average side to me.”

“The location on 3rd street was walkable to multiple restaurants and shops as well as next door to the dome. The sauna was new and well maintained along with the exercise equipment. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast with the variety of options available! The room was clean. Washing machines also available. No complaints!”

“The Jasper Ridge Inn is a nice place to stay in Ishpeming. We enjoyed the breakfast on our first morning. On the second morning, we went to breakfast and although there were 10-15 minutes left to be open, there were no biscuits for the biscuits and gravy and if the waffle maker had been out, it was already put away.
