“Beautiful place with lovely views! ”

“The only positive about this place in my opinion, is its location. The view looking AWAY from the house are wonderful. The house and property are old, dilapidated and not at all maintained. I did not expect it to be a perfect venue, but the photos posted by the property owner DO NOT represent the conditions in and around the house. Not only is in poor repair, it is not kept clean either. There was no trash can or trash bags inside. The trash can on the porch was full of garbage when we arrived.……

“Sherri was very easy to communicate with. John was very personable and welcoming. The cottage was exactly as advertised. Very quiet and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Great location for visiting cute small towns, Gloucester and Matthews. Beach and fishing at Gloucester Point. Yorktown right across the bridge with its beautiful historic homes, shops, restaurants and beach.”

“2nd time we have stayed here. We love the house and area. This is the place to relax, disconnect from the internet and refuel the soul. For us we are big fishermen and being able to wake up grab a cup of coffee, walk out back with your rod and start fishing on the deck over looking the Chesapeake is awsome. We will definitely be back. Donna is a gracious host and just a text or call away if you need something. ”

“We had an awesome stay at the Key Lime Cottage. Plenty of space, clean, easy check in, great communication, and loved the use of the golf cart! ”

“Pictures were extremely misleading. The area rugs were VERY dirty, the floor was uneven and the grass and weeds were about 8-10 inches high. The view was very nice but NOT worth the money we spent.”

“We have stayed at Gwynn’s Island Cottage four times now and each visit only gets better. Cheri is the most thoughtful and welcoming host — you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. The Cottage has always been immaculate and has everything you could ever think to need during your stay. The views, the water, the private beach.. it’s almost surreal. We bring our dog who enjoys the beach and water as much as we do. The sunsets every night are breathtaking. With great restaurants on the island……
