"Amazing stay ! I would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to shibuku, or anywhere nearby to plan their stays around Fresa inn! Not only are the staff super friendly and go up and beyond , but the rooms are nice clean , breakfast was amazing , and area was so close to subways stations and other tourist areas. Also fyi , they offer so many free amenities that can dramatically decrease your packing such as : shampoo , face lotion , sunscreen but also lovely extras such as hair wax , razors and face masks ! Just go and book it you won’t regret it !"

It’s a mix of tourists, bars, neon lights, nightclubs, promoters, hostesses, and love hotels. It’s not unsafe, but it definitely has a nighttime atmosphere that feels very different from the rest of Tokyo. Despite how Kabukichō looks: • There is no violence • There is no crime targeting tourists • No one is going to bother you • There is no physical danger walking at night • Police patrol the area constantly It is not a dangerous neighborhood. The Grandbell is located in a kind of “middle zone”: • About 3–5 minutes from the quiet Shinjuku Gyoen side • About 3–5 minutes from the brighter, busier Kabukichō area You will not see explicit behavior, harassment, danger, or anything aggressive.
