“This is an out-of-the-ordinary Spanish parador. To be chosen by those on honeymoon, be it for those just married or those celebrating 50 years. The hotel is adjacent to a formidable castle, open for visitation. And there is a gorgeous hike into the woods, also adjacent to the hotel. Jaen is an interesting town, too. Would like to thank the staff at the hotel for making the extra effort to accommodate our son who at last minute joined us and needed a room. Book early because this hotel is in high……

“Hotel is really lovely and the staff were outstanding .”

“Excelente ubicación. El hotel de 20 años muy agradable”

“Overall quite good. Staff friendly. Good location. Rooms a little dated but large and clean”

“ok ac. begränsad frukost”

“This boutique hotel of 24 rooms is absolutely great and well taking care. I had my best sleep there during my vacation. Staff are friendly and provided useful information . Just step from city center it is walkable and very safe . Walking distance to restaurants , shops and historical landmark . I highly recommend this boutique hotel.”

“This was an unusual place to stay overnight on our way further South in Spain. The location was accurately given by both Google Maps and Waze. You have to trust them as the approach looks a bit unlikely as you get nearer. May be tricky if arriving in the dark. We were a bit nervous about the entry process using links on our phones but it was all very easy in practice. Just be sure to have mobile signal & power in your battery. We had the place to ourselves so it felt like staying in a huge……

“What a charming place. The location is perfect inside of the ruins, close to main plaza. Free and 24hr parking. The price incredible. For being in the middle of town, it was not loud and the rooms were dark in the morning so you can sleep in. Definitely adds to feeling you are back into the 16th Century.”
