Quel endroit incroyable au paysage à faire rêver. Nous avons tout aimé! Le personnel était accueillant et les lieux sont d’une très grande propreté. La piscine était aussi parfaite ainsi que le copieux déjeuner servi directement à notre chambre pour la prendre sur notre terrasse. J’y retournerais sans hésiter!

Absolutely stunning location! We loved our peaceful 3 nights at this quaint and well run hotel. Breakfast was fresh and tasty and waking up to the view of the Douro River was fabulous. Even better than we expected, I would recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone!

We had an amazing stay that was so relaxing, beautiful and peaceful. The pool, gardens and river views were spectacular. The breakfast was also wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The beautiful location with amazing views meant that we felt less inclined to go exploring and we were content just to hang out and enjoy the scenery. The swimming pool was beautiful. You could take a little walk through the vines below the property. The building was beautifully maintained. The rooms were quite small - we didn't mind as they were so well appointed, but we did have to be careful moving around. The view from everywhere on the property was amazing. We were disappointed that there was no fridge in the room or even a bottle opener, as the hotel charges 12 Euro for a glass of wine - compared to 2 to 4 Euro from the restaurant down the road. As the deck was so lovely, we would have like to be able to enjoy a glass or two on the deck at a reasonable price. The breakfast was really really nice and was provided individually rather than a buffet - lovely way to start the day. The staff were all very friendly and helpful but sometimes quite difficult to find. Great from a privacy aspect but difficult if you wanted help with something (they give you a number to phone but as we only had wifi and not a Portuguese phone number we couldn't use it). So a couple of little things but overall I would absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone coming to the Duoro Valley.

Such a wonderful place. We loved every minute. Its absolutely beautiful, has a refreshing pool and nearby restaurants. The picnic breakfast each morning, brought to your room in a basket was such a surprising treat.
