「My Friends and I stayed at Cosgrove Cottage over the weekend just gone, and it was nothing short of magical. The setting is simply beautiful, right on the edge of the Forest. The marketing photos do not do it justice, you have to see it to believe it. The presentation of the actually property was immaculate and the Owners were very possibly the nicest people I have ever met. Warm, welcoming and extremely accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The Tour of the Grounds was informative but...

「Two adults stayed. Used both bedrooms. Very hot but able to open windows. Enjoyed the upstairs outside deck when we were there. Useful having washing machine. Plenty of street parking, but tight spaces & don’t rely on parking directly outside. Bathroom tiny but fit for purpose. Easy walk to beach front. Thank you 」

「It is a charming Georgian cottage. Very clean. Great location, able to easily walk to Angel Hill, Cathedral and many restaurants - and close to getting onto major roadways. The interior stairs are steep, unable to get our suitcases upstairs. Bathroom is lovely, modern and clean, but could use a floor mat as floor is slippery getting in/out of shower. But overall a lovely property. Thank you!」

「Great little village. Local pub very friendly and good food. Shops within walking distance and also very friendly. Beautiful cottage with up to date appliances. Parking a challenge ! Overall lovely place.」

「A clean and well looked after property. Super to be able to sit outside of an evening and watch the activity on the river. Enjoyed meals at both of the local pubs. Plenty to do round and about.」

「The accommodation was extremely clean and had everything there that you might need. The hot tub was clean, warm and ready to use straight away. The kitchen was well equipped to include extra bin bags and dishwasher tablets. The complimentary wine, croissants, milk, juice, and water etc, was a great touch, too. There was nothing to fault, I definitely would recommend staying here!!」

Louise was a fantastic host; great communication, met us on arrival for tour of the house (also very kindly left us nice bottle of wine, crisps and a large carrot cake from the local bakery on the dining table, as well as fresh milk and eggs in the fridge!). 「Stunning lodge with stunning views. Tranquil setting amongst trees. We even had deer in the garden. Lodge was very well equipped and very comfortable. Could have done with a few more plates, dishes etc so we didn't have to put the dishwasher on after every meal. 」
