The Cottage had everything you needed. Like walking into your own home. All rooms well equipped and comfortable to be in. Cottage position excellent. Peace and quiet and central for many places to visit.

Six nights at Rubblestone Cottage

The cottage is very clean, tidy and cosy, it was perfect for our needs. The garden is beautiful and I loved an early morning coffee outside with the moorhens. Our host, Caroline was friendly and very helpful, her parents at the main house were great too! I would definitely recommend staying here, the peace and quiet is wonderful, I'd hope to visit again.

A delightful return to East Suffolk

In our brief visit we enjoyed two concerts at Snape Maltings, visits to Woodbridge, Aldeburgh, and Orford for a wonderful fish lunch at Pinney's.Rubblestone Cottage was an ideal base and everything possible seemed to have been thought of to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Rural idyll

Perfect little cottage for my friend and I to stay whilst meeting another friend. Very welcome "welcome" pack and everything just right for us. Perfect location for visiting various places in the area. Nice to chat to Frank and Hilda and get the history of the farm. Lovely listening to the birdsong and the weather was perfect. My friend and I very much enjoyed our stay in Rubblestone Cottage. It is very well equipped and nicely located for accessing the Suffolk Coast. The property itself is also in a very peaceful location.

Lovely Comfy and Tranquil Base

Lovely clean and comfortable base for us while visiting family. As always a lovely area and the location of the cottage was lovely and peaceful while still close to ammenties. Hosts were a pleasure to deal with and very welcoming and thoughtful. Lovely stay.

Comfortable period cottage in delightful quiet location

The cottage was very well presented with all facilities we expected and the location next to the old farmhouse was wonderfully rural and quiet. Saxmundham with shops etc is a short drive, and there are many other lovely places in the area.

Rubbleside Cottage is a real home-from-home cottage. Very cosy, friendly hosts, lovely location.

So good, would like to return another time. My sister (visiting from 🇦🇺) and I were very comfortable. The location is ideal for visiting Suffolk's many places of interest.

Lovely stay near Minsmere

Really nice experience in booking and pre- information. The cottage is annexed to a main farm house and sits in the grounds of an old farm. It's really secluded and beautiful place to stay. It's really close to RSPB Minsmere where we spent much of our 3 day stay and close to Southwold which is a well worth spending time. The cottage is very clean, spacious and good amenities, I would highly recommend

Hidden gem in Suffolk countryside

Rubblestone cottage is in a perfect location. In the picturesque ountryside of Suffolk yet close to several small beaches. The cottage itself is immaculately clean, with a well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, welcoming hostess. Would not hesitate to rent again or recommend to friends and family.

Peaceful Cottage

A clean, comfortable very well equipped cottage. The owners are friendly and welcoming, a lovely array of beverages & biscuits were awaiting us. The cottage is in a large garden & you are free to wander and it is very quiet. We enjoyed watching the bats in the evenings & the relaxed atmosphere.
