"We had a nice time at this house. Its like a mini vacation away from home with a great view of the lake. It is a true cabin feel. Host was very responsive and fixed any issues we encountered."

"My family of 4, plus our dog, just had the pleasure of spending the past 3 nights at Sunrise Cottage. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. There was homemade cinnamon rolls in the freezer with instructions on how to reheat them, which was such a thoughtful and delicious treat. We spent time on the paddle boards, kayaks and canoe and enjoyed the amazing view. Our dog even made friends with the local dogs, who are very sweet, once they get their barks out lol. We would absolutely love to return sometime."

"We had a great time at the Executive Mansion with our family of 24 people. The house was very spacious and the amenities were great. Having a pool was a definite plus and it got a lot of use. The kitchen had just about everything we could need and made meal prep very easy. We rented the boat and went fishing almost every day. We caught more fish on this trip than any other vacations we have been on, and we didn’t even have to travel that far from the house.We had a few minor issues, but the home owner was very responsive in addressing them. When you spend as much as we did on a vacation property you expect everything to be perfect. However, it’s a rental property, so it’s going to show some signs of wear and tear. Did any of these issues detract from our overall experience? Not really, so I’m not going to dive into the specifics. Would we go back? Our group likes to try different places each time, but if we were to go back to Lake Gaston, the Executive Mansion would definitely be on the list."

"We had a wonderful time here. Absolutely loved it, would highly recommend this little gem. This place was so comfy and cozy, just what we needed. Super clean. They have everything there that you could need or want. Everything was very comfortable from the beds, pillows, and furniture. Great views of the lake, wonderful views of the stars at night. Far out from the world to be in your own, but not too far out that you cant get to a grocery store in less than 30 minutes. If we ever get the chance or need to rent this property again, we wont hesitate in the slightest. Cannot talk well enough about this property. The hosts were really quick with responses and info that we needed. If you are on the fence and don't know if this is the property to rent, just do it, you wont be disappointed."
